Healthcare Client Relations Consultant

Exciting opportunities exist with a Healthcare IT Company for an Customer Relations Consultants who will work from their offices in either Johannesburg or Durban.

The successful candidates will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring a seemless and efficient onboarding experience for clients joining the Company's Healthcare Bureau. In addition their ongoing contribution will be instrumental in managing the retention of the Company's Bureau customers.

These positions specifically involve:

  • Promoting the Company's value proposition by on-boarding and maintaining Medical Practices through continuous consulting as well as identifying and acting upon opportunities to up-sell additional products and services;

  • Delivering on the desired end-to-end client experience by providing a consistently high standard of client service;

  • Measuring and monitoring the Company's client experience by making their value proposition real; and

  • Providing ongoing input to help shape the Company's value proposition.

Duties include:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the onboarding process;

  • Guiding practices through the adoption of the bureau service;

  • On-boarding and training practices on products and processes through a combination of face-to-face, telephonic and digital channels;

  • Developing strong and trusted relationships with Healthcare Providers and unlocking the Company's value proposition through continuous high value interactions supported by actionable insights;

  • Proactively identifying needs and recommend solutions to optimise the Company's value proposition;

  • Updating onboarding resources and maintaining detailed records of all client interactions;

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and mutually beneficial customer journey;

  • Managing retention and growth of an allocated portfolio of Practices in order to maintain its profitability.

 

Job requirements

Qualifications and experience:

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric), tertiary qualification preferred;

  • 4+ years experience in a client service role, within the healthcare and/or information technology sectors;

  • 2+ years training clients on software products;

  • 2+ years upselling products and services to existing clients;

  • 2+ years building strong and trusted business-level relationships with clients;

  • Proficient in Ms Excel, Word, Powerpoint or the Google Workspace alternative.

 

Knowledge and skills:

  • Proficiency in English, and at least one other official language;

  • Excellent communication and people skills (verbal and written);

  • Effective analysis, problem solving and decision making skills in complex and dynamic situations;

  • Effective time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines;

  • Knowledge of the medical services claims industry and healthcare coding systems is preferable;

  • Understanding of processes and systems used in the execution Medical Practice Management is preferable;

  • Experience working on PMA’s (Practice Management Applications) is preferable;

  • Enthusiasm to stay updated with industry developments and emerging trends in the healthcare sector;

  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills to establish trust and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders;

  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach to work effectively with cross-functional teams;

  • Can hold own ground during tough negotiations with different stakeholders, while remaining respectful, calm and mindful;

  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving targets and delivering on key objectives;

  • Adaptability and resilience to navigate through challenges and uncertainty;

  • Ethical and professional conduct with a commitment to integrity and confidentiality;

  • Dependable and diligent, consistently demonstrating trustworthiness and a strong work ethic.

Job Type: Full-time

TCC:  From R22 000,00 per month
