Healthcare IT: Product Support Specialist

An opportunity with a Healthcare IT Company in Umhlanga to play a crucial role by deliverying exceptional Product Support Services through the analysis and resolution of product related queries in line with client expectations and service level targets.

The successful candidate will perform prescribed processes and procedures, log queries, identify interventions and initiate actions to address product related issues.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

• Resolve product queries based on Service Guiding Principles;

• Perform regular operational processes and administrative procedures as prescribed by the business;

• Log queries, accurately and completely;

• Identify product related interventions & initiate relevant actions;

• Identify root causes and issues impacting end users and work towards ensuring that the same issues do not re-occur.

• Assess service levels and manage relationships with external and operational clients.

 

Requirements to fill the Position:

• National Senior Certificate (Matric) with a rellevant Tertiary qualification;

• 3+ years client support , preferably in the SA Healthcare Industry;

• 3+ years technical support, preferably in medical billing & switching;

• Experience supporting IT systems from a technical perspective;

• Experience working with databases (SQL Server), as well as developing and mantaining database scripts;

• In-depth knowledge of Project Management methodologies;

• Internal and external Stakeholder management skills;

• Continuous learning and systems thinking;

• Problem solving and attention to detail;

• Ability to capture query-resolution activities accurately;

• Excellent communication skills;

• Planning, organisation and time management skills.
