Sales Account Manager: Healthcare

Exciting opportunities in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth with a Healthcare IT Company for a Sales Account Manager to promote and sell software solutions to Healthcare practices and facilities in the private sector.

The successful candidates will use their business development and relationship building skills to generate leads, build a pipeline of opportunities, demonstrate software solutions ad manage the entire sales cycle to achieve monthly revenue and unit targets in an allocated territory. 

  Responsibilities include:

• Become a trusted advisor and industry consultant to healthcare practices;

• Develop and execute a territory go-to-market plan;

• Generate leads via cold-calling and other contact initiators;

• Build a pipeline of opportunities that is sufficient to cover the allocated territory target;

• Achieve monthly revenue and unit targets;

• Manage the entire sales cycle, including: demand generation, presentation and demonstration of the company's IT solutions and services and concluding the sale and overseeing the contractual process;

• Sales administration in SAP CRM which includes detailed Activity, Lead, Opportunity and Forecast reporting;

• Provide market, customer and competitive feedback;

• Keep up to date with program changes, sales strategies, and presentations;

• Post-installation customer contact to ensure quality and user satisfaction;

• Ongoing customer contact to explore opportunities for upselling.

 

  Requirements to fill the position include:

• Matric with a tertiary qualification is preferred;

• Valid drivers licence with own reliable vehicle;

• Sales in-field experience in the Healthcare or IT sectors;

• Face-to Face cold calling experience;

• Competency at demonstrating software solutions;

• Effective at building a pipeline and closing sales;

• Excellent communication and relationship building skills at all levels;

• Customer focued, resilient, target driven and action oriented;

• A good understanding of the SA Private Healthcare Industry is advantageous.

Salary: from R35 000 per month (depending on skills and experience)
