Healthcare IT: Client Support Specialist

An exciting opportunity for a Support Consultant, with a Healthcare IT Company in Johannesburg to play a crucial role in delivering specialised Client Support Services through the analysis and resolution of queries escalated by Client Support consultants.

 

The successful candidate will analyse data, identify trends and initiate solutions and, if necessary, escalate for further investigation and / or technical intervention.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot and resolve client relatated queries in line with expectations, service level targets and guiding principles;

• Support peers with tehnial escalations to maximise team effort;

• Triage SQL databases to identify inconsistencies;

• Proactively identify patterns and trends across queries to detect systemic technical issues and escalate these to minimise impact;

• Initiate interventions that would add value to clients and initiate the required actions;

• Log queries and all related activities accurately and in real-time;

• Actively manage and prioritise the backlog to ensure consistent progress and timely closure;

• Other duties that may be asigned from time to time.

Requirements to fill the Position:

• National Senior Certificate (Matric) with a relevant Tertiary qualification;

• 2+ years client support, in the SA Healthcare Industry;

• 1+ years training clients on Healthcare software products;

• A sound understanding of Healthcare IT;

• SQL (MySQL, SSMS, Big Query) skills;

• IT related Admin skills;

• Co-ordinating internal and external teams;

• Ability to upskill and share knowledge with peers;

• Committed to delivering quality service;

• Analytical and problem solving skills;

TCC: Starting salary of R25, 000.00 per month
